Sharin Fisher is the Managing Director of the 8200 EISP accelerator program, the first startup accelerator in Israel, which has supported more than 130 startups, 80 of which are still active, raising over a combined $480M and employing more than 460 people in Israel and overseas.
In her role, Sharin is responsible for deal flow sourcing and screening, accompanying and development of early stage startups, from idea to product use by real customers. She also targets potential investors and partners, initiates meetings and presents the companies (in Israel and abroad). She managed to double the 8200EISP partners, and has built meaningful relationships with global players (BlackRock, Avaya, BBPP and more).
Prior to joining EISP, Sharin was an officer at the rank of Captain in an elite cyber-intelligence unit (8200) in the IDF. During her service, she founded “Gvahim” – Israeli’s formal cyber education program for high school students in the field of technology and science.
Sharin was named by Forbes Magazine as one of Israel’s 30 most promising leaders under the age of 30. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Bar – Ilan University and an M.A. in Diplomacy, Strategy and Public Affairs from IDC Herzliya and the University of Texas.
